2022 Evening Star

Our 2022 Evening Star is Williams Gap's first port-style wine. This dessert wine is produced with traditional Ruby Ports of the Douro Valley in mind but with a New World twist. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is fortified with brandy distilled from our estate Cabernet Sauvignon at Catoctin Creek Distillery and then aged in oak barrels. This wine showcases aromas of dark fruit, which translates to ripe mixed berries and dark chocolate on the palate. We are very excited to share this rich wine and we recommend pairing it with our warm chocolate chip cookies or our truffles.
